The people

I have been a community worker ever since I’ve truly known my self! Always worried with the challenges of the world.

I love people and am am very interested yet worried about nature, because after all who are we with out mother nature.

My professional focus has been creating long term value, having as a core fundamental the mutual help that people can offer each other that is mutually benefiting

I love flying with the seagulls, swimming with the fish spending time with my wife and kids and exploring the magnificent wonders of this Mediterranean landscape.

I like the way that life is here the atmosphere is tranquil (even when there is more work), the people are flexible, I work close to nature and I here discovered vegetarian food!

In this project I am respondible for the cleaning and organisation of the house, so that all is in the best possible manner to receive our guests.

I am a psychologist and pedagogic coordinator My role on the farm is to manage activities coordinate the summer camps, activities and educational events at PND

I I shine best when I facilitate activities for young people thats what I love doing!

I work in the renovation of several buildings and the creation of new infra-structures. I also do the maintainence of several spaces and fix what needs fixing, I like to see things in working order so I do a bit of everything.

What I like most about the farm is the diversity of services it allows me to develop

I take care of the gardens and of the trees, and help out with the building of new infra-structures

I like being in touch with nature and the feeling of freedom I have when im amongst it and I love being with the beautiful people that pass by.

I love making people happy with fresh garden produce. In 2009 I discovered organic farming. In 2017 started my adventure here, after some projects in the Netherlands, Portugal and a biodynamic farming education.

I am happy to be co-developing the vegetable gardens, improving the soil and delivering the harvests to the kitchen and the local farmer´s market.

Passionate of food and travel, my professional path has always been focused around the worlds cousine.

I feel very happy for being a part of the Vale Da Lama team. I am the chef of the Kitchen. Its a space where I can show my passion for food and respect the seasonal local and organic Ingredients. See you soon

In the past 4 years I have found a new passion that is food and travel thanks to Bruno Ferraz. At the moment I am working at casa vale da lama where I am happy to have found a vegetarian kitchen permaculture animals aromatic and medicinal herbs, always conected to my roots

Since the very beginning I have been around. I am part of the farms communication team where along with others I have helped in the development of the PND, Casa and Farm websites. I work on the farm marketing.

I love this. To say that this is a part of my life is not enough. I love it, a lot.

My role on the farm is to actively support the community agriculture project, facilitating learning experiences for volunteers

I love to sing, to listen to the birds sing and dancing in open places.

Thats when I found Permaculture, Vale da Lama and experienced a new way of living sustainably. I decided to take the PDC (permaculture design corse) and since then, it was the best journey of self-discovery and learning…

I came to Quinta do Vale da Lama in 2012 when I was looking for a Permaculture design corse. I did the corse and instantly fell in love with this place. I volunteered and the opportunity arose to intern in the of field processing

On this farm we process and transform what the land gives us. Come and taste!
